Article: Changing lives one classroom at a time...

Design Management Group's current work includes three public school projects in various parts of construction stages, located throughout different regions in Pennsylvania. Their work includes a wide array of various vertical markets, however DMG continues to pursue any and all work in the public school sector and has substantial experience in the education market (K-12 through Higher Ed). They know and understand how important education is to society's future and the impact they have in educational facilities. From pre-design through occupancy, they've built smarter systems for healthy indoor environments that bring teachers and students together to better shape individuals and their future careers.

This past October, Design Management Group paired up with a charity corporation in New York called DonorsChoose.org. They make it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need, moving us closer to a nation where students in every community have the tools and experiences they need for a great education. In 2000, Charles Best, a teacher at a Bronx public high school, thought about all the money he and his colleagues were spending on books, supplies, and other materials. And he figured there were people out there who'd want to help — if they could see where their money was going. Charles sketched out a website where teachers could post classroom project requests, and donors could choose the ones they wanted to support. His colleagues posted the first 11 requests and now they're open to every public school in America.

DMG was proud and happy to donate a number of Chromebooks to a second grade class and wanted to share the smiles here, from the 'thank-yous' from the teacher and children who are benefiting from this awesome donation!

Our staff here at DMG would like to say You're Welcome!! And THANK YOU for accepting our donation and we loved reading your thank you letters! We're very happy to hear you love working on your new computers!
